Forest and Wood Products Australia Investment Plan: Resource Modelling and Remote Sensing: Survey Participants Information Statement
This Forest and Wood Products Australia funded survey explores resource modelling and remote sensing as a basis to design a research investment portfolio for Forest and Wood Products Australia.

  • You are invited to participate in a survey study, understanding that participation is voluntary. The survey will take about 30 minutes to complete depending on the detail of your responses.
  • The data collected will be used to inform the drafting of the Forest and Wood Products Australia funded research Investment Plan and prepared relevant document for publication.
  • The Investment Plan will be available to participants from the Forest and Wood Products Australia website.
  • The data may be used for extended analysis, in future projects, for which ethics approval will be sought.
  • The use of the data will be on a non-names basis.
  • It is not anticipated that there are any risks to participation in this study beyond those encountered during everyday life.
  • You may withdraw from the survey at any time without affecting your position now or in the future.
  • Data may be excluded from the study if participants withdraw unless otherwise saved or recorded. If you decide to withdraw you will have until one month following the submission of your data to request that this data be excluded from the study.
  • Data collected from this study will be retained for seven years to cover the period of operation of the Investment Plan and will be stored on a secure UniSA server at Mawson Lakes Adelaide.
  • The data will be individually identifiable as this is required for the classification process in the survey analysis.
  • Individuals' responses will be kept confidential by the researcher and will not be identified in the reporting of the research.
  • All records containing personal information will remain confidential and no information which could lead to identification of any individual will be released, unless required by law.
  • The researcher will take every care to remove responses from any identifying material as early as possible.
  • However the researcher cannot guarantee the confidentiality or anonymity of material transferred by email or the internet.
