Thank you for your interest in applying to be on NAMI California’s Board of Directors. We appreciate your willingness to give your time and talent to our organization. This survey will provide you with an understanding of our strategic plan and give you an opportunity to share how you can contribute to its successful completion. Your answers will also help our members learn more about you and your qualifications.
NAMI California’s Board of Directors are elected by our members to provide oversight and strategic guidance to fulfill our mission, to provide advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can lead quality lives of dignity and respect without fear of discrimination and stigma.
Together with the NAMI California staff, our Board members craft policy to govern our organization, determine NAMI California’s official position on matters of public policy, review and approve the annual budget, as well as develop and refine our strategic plan to guide the organization.
