Parks and greenspaces are essential to our health and well-being - they help us live active lives and connect with nature and each other. As Vaughan grows, it's critical that we continue to build, maintain and enhance our system of greenspaces to meet the needs of a growing population and preserve this cherished resource.
That's why the City is developing its first-ever Greenspace Strategic Plan. The plan will set a clear direction for the development, implementation and maintenance of greenspaces across the city as it grows.

- The draft vision and goals of the Greenspace Strategic Plan.
- Understanding the needs and preferences of Vaughan residents regarding the types of parks provided throughout the City.
Your input will help inform developing various park types and strategies to acquire and expand a wide range of parks and greenspaces within the city. The survey will take approximately 10-12 minutes to complete and will be available until Friday, June 14th.
