1. Welcome

Have you got what it takes?

At CTG, we know that it takes a certain type of person to succeed when working on humanitarian projects in challenging environments and we want to make sure that when we recruit people to work in these environments, they're the right fit.

This survey will not prevent you getting a position with CTG but it is designed to make you think whether this is the right choice for you.

We have based the questions on many years of practical experience working in the field. Some of the things we find that make all the difference are cultural adaptability, mental resilience, rapid deployment readiness, planning and organisation, stress management, teamwork and the right personal motivation*.

There is, of course, no 'perfect humanitarian worker' and this is by no means an exhaustive survey but it might make you think twice. At the end of the survey you will see your score and this will give you an idea whether this type of work is suited to you.

We do not share this information with anyone and your responses are entirely confidential. We encourage you to answer the questions as honestly as possible without thinking about it too much.

Thanks for taking part and we looking forward to talking with you.

From all of us at the CTG Talent Deployment Team, good luck!
