Dear Golf Digest Panelist,
We’re asking for your help in an informal survey on golf resorts in North America for a future article. Important: Rather than the actual golf course itself, we want your opinion on the overall experience of the resort.
Please take an extra moment and thank about ALL the resorts you have visited. We know how good Pebble Beach and Bandon Dunes are. We are most interested in hearing your collective thoughts about lesser-known resorts. To pick a Michigan example, we want to know how Treetops stacks up against Boyne Mountain. In Florida, how does the Breakers compare with Innisbrook? In Myrtle Beach, how does the Barefoot Resort compare to The Legends?
For each resort that you’re familiar with, please rate each on a scale from 1 to 10 (where 1 is the worst, 4 is below average, 7 is very good, and 10 is the absolute best). We’ll be using this data to help us for a future article on resorts.
In addition, there is space at the end of the survey to submit write-in candidates. Please type the name of the North American resort and provide a score any facility you’d recommend us paying attention to.
One more point: Resorts that allow golfers to walk should be given extra consideration.
