Please review the below BEFORE submitting your nomination to make sure your nominee is qualified to receive this award:
-Nominees MUST NOT hold elected office or be a candidate for office at the time of nomination
-Nominees should exemplify community involvement outside the scope of their job description and be involved in more than one volunteer effort or organization
- Multiple nominations are accepted, so encourage others who know this person to nominate them as well.
Examples of Man & Woman of the Year include people who have put in countless hours volunteering at more than one local non-profit, people who have stepped up to lead organizations or efforts to change our community for the better, people who have donated their time, treasure and talent to make Arvada a better place for many years.
We always accept nominations for Man and Woman of the Year, but the cut off to be accepted for the 2025 event will be February 14 at 5pm.
If your nominee does not qualify for Man & Woman of the Year, but is still worthy of an award, consider nominating them for the Image Award. This award recognizes individuals who are the epitome of a POSITIVE IMAGE in our community. These individuals have gone above and beyond to make the lives of others and our community a better place.
