Course Information
NonProfitConnect’s flagship program, BoardConnect is now being offered online for individuals interested in serving as a member of a nonprofit Board of Trustees. Topics will include board member governance, legal, fiduciary responsibilities, and fundraising. We offer this course to professionals interested in serving on a nonprofit board as well as professionals that need a refresher course. These courses will prepare the participant to fully engage as a member of a nonprofit Board of Trustees. Participants will then have the option to attend an Online Meet and Greet Nonprofit Fair to facilitate introductions to a variety of area nonprofits. The Meet & Greet Online Fair is an optional event for those participating in the BoardConnect program that would like to be placed with a Mercer County nonprofit.
