LGBTQ+ Historic Sites Survey

Welcome and thank you for your interest in this survey. We are a national group of LGBTQ+ preservationists, public historians, and archivists working with the NYC LGBT Historic Sites Project to expand the knowledge base about who and which organizations are conducting LGBTQ+ site-based history work around the country. We further hope to build a national conversation about LGBTQ+ historic sites in order to elevate this work. This survey is the first step and will be followed by the convening of four national conversations in early 2024.

The survey is approximately 50 questions and about 20 minutes to complete.

Although we are collecting information about you, the information is confidential and we commit to asking your permission before releasing any information publicly. Research ethics require that all individuals completing the survey be 18 years or older. If you are under 18 and working in this area, please direct this survey to a colleague or supervisor who is 18 and up to complete this survey.
