Scholarship recipients will be approved by the ALFN’s CEO and will be notified within 45-60 days of the event start date (or within 3 business days if application is submitted within 45 days of the event start date).  If there are multiple individuals applying for scholarships within your organization, we will need to receive all of their completed forms prior to approving or denying scholarships for your company.

Scholarship recipients are required to arrange your travel schedule so that you are in attendance during the entire conference, Wednesday, May 1, from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM.

There are two options for the event registration fee for scholarship recipients.  You may pay for your own registration fee upon registering for the event, and ALFN will reimburse you within 3-5 weeks after the event concludes if you don't violate any of the scholarship or event policies.  Alternatively, ALFN can provide you a comp code to use for your registration fee so you can register at no cost up front, but will require a credit card on file which will only be charged if you don’t cancel within 8 days of the event start date or if you violate any of the scholarship or event policies. 

If travel expenses are approved with your scholarship level, you will be required to arrange all travel accommodations on your own, and ALFN will reimburse you according to your approval scholarship amounts within 3-5 weeks after the event concludes if you don't violate any of the scholarship or event policies.

Approved scholarship amounts will be sent by check reimbursement within three-five weeks after the conclusion of the conference and is dependent on the recipient’s full conference attendance and availability to ALFN members and other event attendees during all scheduled conference sessions, dinners/receptions and other scheduled conference events, and adherence to all scholarship and event policies.

An All-Inclusive Scholarship (if approved) includes 1 complimentary registration ($950 value), host hotel room reservation for up to 2 nights for room fee & tax ($889.13 value for 2 nights - includes room fee and tax), ground transportation credit (up to $50 max), airfare credit (up to $450 max).  Lodging is eligible through the scholarship for only those individuals coming in from out of town (more than a 1 hour drive).

Do you agree not to accept invitations from other conference attendees to meet or participate in non-conference events (i.e. meetings, meals, cocktails, activities etc.) during times that would conflict with a scheduled ALFN conference event?  Conflicts to avoid would be during any group session, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner or cocktail reception), or any other event on the conference schedule.  Agreement is required to receive scholarship funds.
