The VPA is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2021, having been formed by some forward-thinking Principals in 1971.  One of our life members, Peter Ruddock, was a foundation member and we are thrilled that he is involved with the association.

The VPA Board is delighted to let current and former members know that this 50-year milestone will be celebrated later this year. I would like to seek your opinion about how we can best recognise and celebrate 50 years of professional advocacy for Principals.

We would greatly appreciate and value your feedback, thoughts and suggestions by 3 May 2021, so that the VPA Board can plan and execute suitable activities to recognise and acknowledge the excellent work that the organisation has undertaken representing its members over that 50-year period. We welcome any suggestions you may have.

Our membership database is not perfect and there are many former members whose details we do not have. If you have remained in touch with former members, and they are happy for you to do so, we would be extremely grateful if you could pass on their e-mail address and mobile number so that we can issue a personal invitation to them as well. 

This survey can be forwarded to any past members, and a link to this survey can be found on our website- vpa.org.au. We really do wish to see as many of our former members and current members as possible. Please let your former and current colleagues know that we would like them to be involved in our celebration(s).
