Commissions, needless to say, are the life blood of an independent manufacturer representative. Of key importance is being compensated for sales in your territory for your authorized lines.

The increase in the number of RDCs/CDCs in the industry continues, as does industry consolidation. If sales/purchases are not consummated at a branch it is difficult to determine whom receives the appropriate credit. POS reporting is essential to administering this process and ensuring commissions are fairly distributed.

NEMRA is updating its research on the current state of POS reporting and will be comparing today's state vs 2018. The goal is to continue to heighten the awareness of the issue and, hopefully, identify strategies for improvement.

NEMRA has engaged Channel Marketing Group to conduct this research. The following is a brief survey to gain your input. Results will be shared at the 2022 NEMRA Conference.

All responses are confidential. The survey should take you 5 minutes to complete.

Thank you for your time and input.
