Thank you for your interest in hosting an AmeriCorps VISTA member.
Serve Wisconsin is focused on ending poverty due to racial disparities in Wisconsin. VISTA members will assist Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) led organizations by increasing their capacity to provide the services that will help end racial disparity and create a just Wisconsin.
VISTA Members can help your organization with:
· resource development
· engaging volunteers
· developing the support systems to better recruit and manage volunteers
· developing a plan and materials to support outreach efforts of organizations or initiatives
· designing or improving the way an organization promotes programming
· conducting a community asset and needs assessment
· supporting the development of programming
