The 11th annual West Waterford Festival of Food will take place on April 20th to 22nd and the committee are currently busy putting together another amazing programme of events for next year.
We are now taking expressions of interest for our markets, which will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd April. One of the highlights of our festival every year, our Sunday Market attracts in excess of 20,000 people to the town centre. This market incorporates our local Farmer's and Country Markets as well as many more traders. The emphasis is on local and artisan producers, so priority will be given to traders from county Waterford.
Our Quayside Saturday market has grown substantially in recent years, with record numbers in attendance in 2017 which we hope will grow further in 2018. As the emphasis is on seafood, priority will be given to stallholders who sell fish and seafood produce and this will be complemented with a selection of other foods.
During the application process you can indicate if you prefer to trade at the Saturday market, Sunday market or both.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 22nd December 2017.
