Conference Content Programmer

Marijuana Business Daily (MJBizDaily), since 2011 the best-known producer of B2B news and trade shows serving executives and major investors in America's $8 billion cannabis industry, is seeking a Conference Content Programmer to help set agendas, research potential speakers and facilitate all content-related aspects of our industry-leading events.

You'll be based in our Denver office and receive a competitive salary, paid time off, 401(k) and health benefits. As seen in Inc. Magazine, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal, we are a highly professional, award-winning, fast-growing company.

Job description:
You will be responsible for developing conference content and managing the speaker selection process, coordinating all pre-show communications and deliverables with selected speakers, managing content on-site, and implementing successful feedback loops for continual improvement.  The role includes responsibilities for long-term vision and brand building as well as hands-on tactical management of speakers and operations.

You must be comfortable with the idea of cannabis-business related topics.  We are not specifically looking for someone with experience in the industry, but rather someone with relevant experience for the role itself and the desire to learn as much as possible about the industry.

Required background:
At least five years of experience planning content and lining up speakers for business/B2B events

Required skills:
Organization is absolutely key, as you’ll be juggling multiple deadlines for multiple conferences – some of which feature more than 100 speakers. Ability to effectively communicate with executives, entrepreneurs and high-level investors about business topics a must. Deep understanding of business-related topics preferred.

No relocation assistance provided for this role.  Marijuana Business Daily is a division of Anne Holland Ventures Inc. Should you be offered a position, please expect to complete a background/reference check. Anne Holland Ventures Inc is woman owned and an equal opportunity employer.
