Sports Medicine Australia WA Concussion Survey 2016 |
Sports Medicine Australia (WA Branch) (SMAWA) with major support from the Department of Sport and Recreation manages the SMAWA Concussion in Sport Education Project.
Concussion is a brain injury and is defined as a complex pathophysiological process affecting the brain, induced by biomechanical forces (Consensus statement on concussion in sport: the 4th International Conference on Concussion in Sport held in Zurich, November 2012).
