Student-Athlete Employment

* 1. The NCAA requires certain employment conditions to met to protect your athletic eligibility.

You may be paid only for actual hours worked and that your pay may only be based upon a rate that is the same rate paid to other employees doing similar work in that area?

You cannot accept any benefits or privileges that are not available to other employees doing similar work, including transportation provided or arranged by the employer to or from the place of employment.

Your compensation does not include any benefits for value you may have for the employer because of the publicity, reputation, fame, or personal following you have obtained because of your athletics ability.

You should be treated in the same manner as any other employees doing similar work.
