Urgent Request for Information

Following the recent 2-week lock-down and announcements for restarting the Building & Construction Industry on Tuesday 5 October 2021, CCF Victoria has initiated an important survey of members to enable us to present to Government the impact of the decision to restrict partially vaccinated workers from traveling across restricted (metro-Melbourne and select LGA’s) and unrestricted areas (regional Victoria) has had on our industry.

The movement of workers is a major consideration for the Government together with current vaccination rates. Information on worker movement and vaccination rates are critical in enabling us to advise the Government on what is happening, and the steps needed to lift movement restrictions on the civil construction industry.

Therefore, we have commissioned this urgent and important survey to gather the data we need to present back to the government.

We know you are busy, but we need this data from you URGENTLY. Please complete TODAY, (but no later than 12 noon Monday, 4 October), specifically the number of staff you have who are impacted and how many are fully, partially vaccinated or are refusing to be vaccinated.

Answers to the survey will be treated with the strictest confidence and member details will not be linked or disclosed to any party. We will only be producing a high-level overview and a wider industry-based summary for presentation to Government which will not reference specific contractor details or responses.

The survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete and will be critical in supporting CCF advocacy and representation efforts with the Government with regards to aligning metro-regional movement restrictions to fall into line with large-scale sites and state-critical infrastructure projects for all CCF members.

Note: we are only taking details of your business name to ensure there is no double-up of submissions. We GUARANTEE the CCF submissions to Government will not have any business names included or referenced.
