Center for Leadership Application (Class of 2025)

Applications are due by close of business Friday, May 17, 2024, by 5:00 pm EDT. Additionally, one letter of recommendation must be submitted from your current supervisor (or board member or leader of a volunteer organization you work with if you are self-employed) indicating your leadership potential. This letter of recommendation also serves as permission from your supervisor to attend one all-day class each month of the program. An application is not considered complete unless a Letter of Recommendation has been received. Under no circumstances will applications be accepted after this deadline, including the Letter of Recommendation.

1. Emerging Leader: Those poised to assume leadership positions in their organization or profession in the near term.

2. Education: Undergraduate degree or higher degree.

3. Work Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience, not including internships, in the real estate industry or related fields, including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and non-profits.

4. Commitment: The Center for Leadership requires a significant time commitment. It is a nine-month program with nine full-day seminars and a group project. If accepted to this prestigious and competitive program, you are pledging in good faith to be fully engaged and involved. Attendance to BOTH the FIRST program day in September and the LAST program day (Graduation in May) is mandatory, and one excused absence during the other months is permitted.

SCHEDULE:

Finalists Notified: by June 25/ 26, 2024

Finalist Interviews: June 27 – July 19, 2024 (to be scheduled by you and your assigned interviewer).

Acceptance Letters: sent the week of August 5, 2024

Letter of Acceptance Due: Friday, August 16, 2024

Tuition Due: Friday, September 6, 2024.

TUITION:

ULI Members: $3,000 (to receive the ULI member rate, membership must be current when you apply).

ULI Non-members: $3,500

Associate Private Sector: $540 ($45 monthly)

Associate Public Sector: $264 ($22 monthly)

Under-35 Young Leaders Group Member: $264 ($22 monthly)
