This is the application for the summer 2023 UCLA Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) Writing and Research Training Program.

The 2023 UCLA MMUF Writing and Research Training Program will run in an in-person format that will require all participating students to reside on the UCLA campus for the entirety of the 6-week program. Housing for participants is provided. Students can expect about 15-20 hours of required class and program activities per week, in addition to assignments to progress their research and writing outside of class. 
 
We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible, as limited spots remain in the program. We will also be contacting the coordinator of your home institution to confirm your standing in their MMUF program. It is your responsibility to follow up with your coordinator to make sure that they complete the coordinator's recommendation form.
