Trustee Survey

The In Trust Center for Theological Schools is conducting a study of advisory and governing boards of all theological schools accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and needs your perspective. The research is being conducted in partnership with ATS and is part of a larger Governance Initiative.

This is the first survey of its kind among theological schools in more than a decade (the last survey of its kind was done in 2012), and your participation is vital to the project. You are invited to participate in this survey. The plan is to collect perspectives from executive leaders and board members to better understand the composition, practices, and realities that advisory and governing boards are currently facing within the current and ever-shifting landscape of theological education.

TIME REQUIRED: This survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

CONFIDENTIALITY: Your individual privacy will be maintained in all publications or presentations resulting from this study. Information you provide in the survey will be used only for statistical purposes and in aggregate form, with all identifying information removed. Data will be kept secure and not shared or released in raw form with anyone other than the primary investigator, David C. Wang, ThM, PhD, Penner Chair for the Formation of Emotionally Healthy Leaders, Fuller Theological Seminary, along with In Trust Center staff and research consultants.

PARTICIPATION: Your participation in the study is completely voluntary and affirms your consent to participate. Your decision whether to participate will in no way affect your current or future relationship with the In Trust Center or ATS.
