Introduction
Hi,
My name is Paul Aherne and I am currently completing an MSc in Sports and Exercise Psychology in Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT).
I am carrying out research on players in team sports in Ireland and I would appreciate if you could spare some time to complete a short questionnaire which should take you no more than 10 minutes.
To take part in this study you must be aged 18 years or older and currently active in a team sport. Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw from the study without reason at any time.
You will not be asked to disclose your identity as this study is completely anonymous and will be treated in confidence.

The data collected during this study will be stored safely by the researcher in a password encrypted file and destroyed after 7 years. Data collected will not be used for any other purposes other than this study.
By participating in this study, you will enable me to complete research which will allow me to complete my Masters as well as providing insights which may contribute to the development of athletes in team sports in Ireland.
