2017 TXACP ANNUAL MEETING - CALL FOR RESIDENT ABSTRACTS

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT - August 20, 2017 (11:59 PM CT)
WHO CAN SUBMIT:
Current TXACP members
Residents or fellows currently enrolled in an Internal Medicine Residency program in Texas.

GUIDELINES ON SUBMITTING:
• One abstract per presenter allowed to be submitted.
• The person who submits the abstract must present the abstract onsite (November 11 in San Antonio). If you cannot attend, you must forfeit your presentation.
• Abstract must contain: TITLE at the top of the document.
• Uploaded Abstract must be renamed: 'Presenter Last Name_Abstract Title' 
• SINGLE SPACE document only.
• Max Word count of 450 words
• References are optional
• No images permitted in abstract submission
• Any abstracts received after midnight on August 20th will automatically be rejected.
• Presenters must register for the Annual Meeting. $25 Registration Fee applies.
• The text boxes below are suggested formatting only.


AWARDS:
Clinical Oral Vignette: The First place winners of the Regional Oral Vignette competition will advance to the State Oral Vignette Competition to present during Plenary Session. The First place winner of the state competition will advance automatically as a Poster Presenter in the National Competition at IM2018.
Clinical Poster Vignette: First and Second places to be awarded. Open to residents and Fellows.
Research Poster Vignette: First and Second places to be awarded. Open to residents and Fellows. The First Place poster will advance to compete in the National Competition at IM2018.
Quality Improvement/Patient Safety Poster: First and Second places to be awarded. Open to residents and Fellows. The First Place poster will advance to compete in the National Competition at IM2018.
