Who can be nominated?
Boys and girls under the age of 16 on the 1st January 2014, enrolled or eligible to enrol in Year 9 or 10 and reside within Maribyrnong, Melton, Hobsons Bay or Brimbank City Councils.
Who can nominate an emerging leader?
>Sport & Community Clubs - Presidents, coaches and coordinators from local football, netball and other sporting clubs, as well as other community clubs
>Schools - School principals, home room teachers, year level coordinators, career advisers, well-being managers or subject specialists
>Council Partners - Staff from Maribyrnong, Melton, Hobsons Bay or Brimbank City Councils
>Project Partners - Staff from Western Bulldogs, AFL, AFL Victoria, WRFL, Netball Victoria, Victoria University, State Government and SportWest
All nominations are strictly confidential and the information provided will only be used to assist The Whitten Project in considering the merits of the nomination. A legal parent or guardian needs to be consulted by the nominator and their contact details provided.
Nominations close midnight Sunday 16 March, 2014. Please note, a nomination does not guarantee selection into the Project. A parent or guardian cannot nominate a member of their immediate family.
