The Toronto Police Service's Purchasing Services is responsible for the procurement of all  goods and services necessary to support and enable the organization to serve and protect the City of Toronto.  In doing so, Purchasing Services is committed to administering an open and transparent competitive process, allowing an equal and fair opportunity to all vendors seeking to do business with us.  It is equally important that our procurement processes are as effective and efficient as possible, ensuring added value for both vendors and the Police Service.

As a result, we have initiated a review of our current procurement practices.  As part of the review, we are asking the business community for feedback to help us identify what works well and where there are opportunities for improvement.

This survey seeks your input on the end-to-end public procurement process: including how the Police Service documents its requirements, procurement methods that are selected, requisition process, proposal submission, proposal evaluation, and contract award and negotiation.  It should take you less than 15 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept confidential.

We view our relationship with vendors as partnerships, and completing this survey, providing your comments on how well our processes work and suggestions to make them better, would be greatly appreciated.
