CJP Project Inspire & JDC Entwine Trip: Inside India is a week-long journey offering Jewish adults ages 25-40 from the Greater Boston area a deep dive into the needs of the Jewish community in India, Israel’s commitment to global responsibility, and the best practices being employed in international development. 

We're looking for Jewish leaders, influencers, and advocates who seek to make a meaningful impact on global Jewish needs and international humanitarian issues. The experience is enriched through  meetings with change-makers who are saving and improving lives and in-depth conversations with your travel companions.

Trip Dates: December 18 - 27, 2018
Application Deadline: Friday September 28, 2018 at noon

This is a highly subsidized program. Participation fee is $1,000 USD and the trip includes:
  • Roundtrip international airfare from Boston, MA to Mumbai, India
  • Local transportation within India
  • Meals
  • Accommodations (shared)
  • Site visits, briefings, tours, etc.
  • Medical and emergency evacuation insurance
PLEASE NOTE: There are only 15 spots available on the trip. Candidates who best fit the leadership criteria will be invited to an interview, and the 15 participating individuals will be notified of their acceptance by October 24, 2018.

Participants will be expected to submit payment of $1,000 USD within 7 days upon notification of selection to secure their place on the trip. 

In addition to the participation fee, participants are responsible for paying for their own tourist visa for India ($310 for US citizens), and obtaining travel insurance, vaccinations, transportation to and from the airport in Boston, and all other incidental expenses. Applicants must carry their own medical insurance.

All program participants will be required to sign a program waiver, submit medical information, a copy of passport valid for at least six months from December 28, and emergency contact information.

Participants are required to attend two orientation sessions (both will take place at CJP): November 28 at 6pm and December 4 at 6pm.

Flight details: The group flight will depart from Boston Logan International Airport on December 18 at 5:00pm and return on December 27 at 8:40am. All participants are expected to meet at the airport three hours prior to departure and must travel to and from Mumbai with the group. Exact flight details will be shared upon notification of acceptance.
