You are invited to submit your nominations for the 2022 Project of the Year Award, which will be presented at the society's Annual Awards Dinner Ceremony at our 2022 Annual Conference.

NYSSPE's PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD is for an outstanding engineering achievement that has captured the innovative and dynamic spirit of a profession dedicated to public service. Nominations may include a specific engineering project such as a public or private structure (residence/apartments, hospital, sports complex), dam, roadway, or any other private or municipal worthy project that meets a human, environmental or social need for the residents of the state of New York.

The 2022 Project of the Year Award will be evaluated based on its merits, originality and innovation, applications of engineering principles, contributions to human, environmental, and/or social needs and its economic impact. The evaluation criteria includes the following:

* Application of engineering principles (25%)
* Originality and innovation (25%)
* Complexity (20%)
* Social significance (15%)
* Economic impact (15%)
