You are invited to complete a short screening questionnaire to see if you are eligible for a research study by Healthy Minds Innovations (HMI). The study explores how smartphone use—including apps and features—may affect the wellbeing of adolescents and their parent or caregiver.
The study is entirely remote and includes 6 online surveys, each taking about 10 to 30 minutes to complete. The study may also involve installing a smartphone app designed to help manage smartphone use.
We’ll ask you to complete 1 online survey per week for 5 weeks. The surveys need to be completed Monday-Wednesday each week, ideally on Monday.
If you are eligible to participate in the study based on this screening, you will be contacted with additional information and asked to complete a consent process before participating in the full study.
This invitation is to take part in the screening process only. The screening involves answering a short set of questions through an online questionnaire.
Your participation in this screening process is entirely voluntary. You are free to change your mind and stop at any time.
