Burnout rates and compassion fatigue are higher than ever and most people want to revive, thrive and feel vibrant again. There are skills for navigating daily stressors that can be protective to our physical, mental and emotional well-being while preventing both burnout and compassion fatigue. There are also strategies for better work-life balance that can serve us well for our mood and relationships. If you are someone who finds it hard to care for yourself while taking care of others, you are not alone, and this workshop is for you. Expect to learn, reflect, try skills and build your personal toolkit with take home strategies that protect your mental health, prevent further burnout and bolster your overall well-being in all areas of life.

Globally, organizations are struggling with employee burnout and post-pandemic turnover. Staff continue to feel wired and tired while trying to fully show up, do great work and get along. Add to this, 80% of leaders report feeling exhausted. What now? It’s an important time for leaders to better understand burnout and its impact on employee engagement and performance and how to prevent further burnout (including your own). In this session we will explore actions you can take if an employee is struggling. We will incorporate the psychological health and safety factors that with extra attention, can help revive staff while keeping yourself buoyant to support them. Let’s make sense of what’s happening in our bodies, in our organizations and the shared responsibility of what we can do next!
