Thank you for your interest in applying to Community Progress's Technical Assistance Scholarship.

We are launching this first round of scholarships alongside the release of our national publication, Reevaluating Code Enforcement: A New Approach to Problem Properties. This round has an exclusive focus on helping local governments who demonstrate a strong commitment to reevaluating and reimagining their local housing and building code enforcement systems and practices to achieve more equitable, effective, and efficient outcomes when addressing vacant, abandoned, and deteriorated (VAD) properties.

A limited number of applicants will be selected to receive up to 200 hours of customized technical assistance from a team of experts at Community Progress. The projects will be carried out between May and December 2024. The value of these services is approximately $50,000, but the scholarship will fully underwrite these costs. No cash contribution will be required of selected scholarship recipients.
