TACES Graduate Student Survey

INFORMED CONSENT

The following information is provided to help you decide whether you wish to participate in this research study.

The purpose of this study is to solicit feedback to better able the Texas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (TACES; a division of the Texas Counseling Association) to meet your needs as a counseling graduate student. Your participation will entail filling out a brief internet survey. You are free to decide not to participate or to withdraw your participation at any time. The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

There are no known risks associated with this study. The expected benefit associated with your participation is that TACES will be better able to meet your needs for support and professional development as a counseling graduate student.

Your responses will not be used to identify you or your institution and will be kept, along with all research records, confidential by the Principal Investigator. No individual responses will be disclosed to anyone because all data will be reported on a group basis. Your information and/or email address will not be released, unless you give us permission to do so. If you give your email address it will only be used to contact you regarding TACES activities and will not be disclosed to any other entity. This research study has been reviewed and approved by the UNT Institutional Review Board (IRB). The UNT IRB can be contacted at (940) 565-3940 with any questions regarding the rights of research subjects.
