Kansas Science of Reading Professional Learning Course with LETRS

This initiative by KSDE provides LETRS training free of charge to educators in KSDE accredited public and private schools in Kansas and college/university faculty in Kansas who teach literacy courses in teacher preparation programs. Participants are asked to commit to completing the training full training even if they change districts or positions during their professional learning.

Participants who this professional development is most appropriate include:

  • Early childhood special education teacher
  • Title teachers
  • ELL/ESOL teachers
  • At-Risk teachers
  • Reading Specialists/Interventionists
  • Instructional Coaches
  • Preschool-Aged At-Risk/Kansas Preschool Pilot
  • District funded or contracted preschool teachers
  • Head Start teachers
  • Principals
  • School Psychologists
  • Speech Language Pathologists

All live training days will be virtual using Zoom.
