This award acknowledges individuals, organizations, or collaborative efforts that have pioneered innovations or best practices within the exposition industry. We aim to spotlight creativity, evolution, community engagement, and collaboration, which are the cornerstones of our dynamic industry.

Who Is Eligible?
Any member or a member company is eligible to submit their innovation/best practice for consideration. For collaborative entries, at least one participant must be a CAEM member. Nominating Committee members are not eligible to nominate themselves or their organizations.
How is your submission made?
Nominate your innovation/best practice by completing the attached form. Each submission must include a compelling written narrative, resembling a case study. The narrative should cover the objective, planning, process, implementation, and results, with a minimum of 200 words divided into two parts. Part 1 outlines the rationale or need for the initiative, while Part 2 delves into how the innovation/best practice is performed. Submissions can include photos, data, testimonials, and other supporting materials. Submissions failing to meet this requirement will not be considered.

How is the nomination evaluated?
The CAEM Nominating Committee will meticulously review submissions, ensuring alignment with the specified criteria. All nominations will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. The committee will select a deserving award winner and may choose to honour up to two winners each year. Additionally, each year a list of finalists will be identified and celebrated for their outstanding contributions.
The CAEM Nominating Committee is responsible for reviewing and determining whether or not the nomination meets the criteria set out in the nomination information. All nominations will be held in the strictest of confidence.
Submissions not meeting all requirements will not be considered.
When is the Award Presented?
The award winners will be honoured at this year’s Annual Conference in Fredericton, NB.
What is the Deadline for Submission?
The fully completed nomination form and written description must be received at the CAEM office by Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025.
