Swanbourne Community Park The WA Government and Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (PCHF) have partnered to revitalise the vacant piece of land next to the Sandcastles Children’s Hospice in Swanbourne. The space will be revitalised to create an accessible parkland for all members of the community. A project team including landscape architectural consultancy, Hassell, and a talented team of landscape designers, aboricultural cultural advisors and construction experts will help the PCHF design and construct the site. The parkland will include three key spaces: Gathering and connection spaces that allow people to move through the park and stay and enjoy the space. Natural spaces that respond to the coastal and bush environment of the reserve, enhancing the space for local fauna and flora to thrive. A nature play space designed for young people to play and interact with the environment. PCHF and the project team are seeking input from the local community to understand what elements should be included in the space. Share your thoughts by completing this short survey. It should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Question Title * 1. What type of features would you like to see in gathering and connection spaces?
