* 3. Vision Statement:  the vision describes what we want to become or how we want to "be".  It is the desired state toward which we are moving.  The proposed vision statement reads, “Exceptional care and patient experience:  Every Patient – Every Time”.

* 5. The 2018-21 Strategic Plan will have four main strategic priorities that will serve as the underpinning to the goals and objectives of PSFDH for the next four years.  They are as follows:
  • Patient and family experience – this area of focus will include goals and objectives to further our patient and family centered care philosophies and practices
  • Quality and safety – this is critical to everything that we do and will always be at the forefront of our major aims
  • Sustainability highlights the things we must have in place for organizational health. This is not limited to financial stability but encompasses other important assets like human resources
  • Engagement – there are many groups which require close attention in terms of how we engage;  our patients and families, staff, physicians, and partners (foundations and auxiliaries, for example)
