Sr. Electrical Engineer

Location: Fatima Energy Plant Site 

Qualification: Bachelors in Electrical (Power) Engineering

Experience: 8 - 10+ Years in process industrial complexes preferably in large power Plants (IPPS)

Power Plant System Maintenance  

1.Ability to diagnose and troubleshooting Electrical systems.
2.Electrical Testing standards and Procedures for major Electrical Equipment and Protections.
3. Configuration and testing of SIEMENS 7UM, 7 SJ, 7ST Relays
4. A hands-on approach for periodic and routine tests e.g IR, DC Resistance, C&DF, SFRA , CT Saturation, Loop testing, ELCID, HiPot DGA etc.
5. Ability to calculate, analyze Protections e.g Differential, over frequency, under frequency, Negative phase sequence, Earth fault, Distance, inter-turn Short circuit, Short circuit Ratio, Reverse Power, Excitation failure etc
4. Able to write technical reports and Perform RCA on internationally recognized techniques.
5. good knowledge of international design practices and standards.
6. Knowledge of Reliability-based Maintenance Philosophy.

1• Able to help another team member to describe and give them the data that concern Electrical engineering knowledge.
• Able to be representative of the organization to instruct outside people to know about engineering knowledge that concerns power plant operation and maintenance.
Well versed with.
1. standard Microsoft office package.
2. ERP/SAP awareness 
1. Able to coordinate and supervise day to day electrical Section activities
2. Coordination with maintenance and operation departments and prioritization of maintenance jobs.
Knowledge of HSE procedures, regulatory requirements (NEQS/PEQS)

Undertakes technical issues of the plant and recommends engineering solution.
. Inspection & monitoring of installed Electrical equipment and systems.(Transformer, Generators, Motors, ESP, HV/LV Sytems, AC/ DC system, Cables and Protections etc).
• Planning, scheduling of manpower and material during Normal operation, and outages.
• To Review and approve Technical reports, and Purchase Requisitions.
.Studies equipment manual collects information pertaining to operation & maintenance of the equipment and applies the information to resolve all O&M issues.
. Appraise Section Head in day to day activities of Electrical section including distribution of jobs to maintenance staff and follow up on assigned jobs.
. Coordinates with Maintenance Supervisors and other Departments.
. Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence relative to the work.
. Prepares reports of unusual incidents, malfunctions and maintenance activities.
. Checks operational reports and logs to determine proper operation of Electrical equipment and impact on the reliability of complex as a whole.
. Generates work orders and keeps maintenance records using (ERP).
. Leads the Electrical section team in developing the effective use of ERP systems.
. Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
. To play a prominent part in maintaining a work schedule and uphold standards.
12. Ability to monitor and evaluate the program and organizational performance in order to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
