While countless events during 2020 and 2021 were canceled, those that were able to continue found ways to adapt. Events were held under new circumstances, with new rules for participants and attendees, and new approaches to measure success as professionals in the sports-events industry displayed their creativity and energy.

This year's SportsTravel Awards will again honor the organizations, events and individuals who have gone above and beyond during a challenging and historic year and found ways to move the industry forward. SportsTravel invites you to nominate people or organizations from the sports-event industry for a SportsTravel Award, which will be presented at the TEAMS ’21 Conference & Expo in Atlantic City, New Jersey, September 27–30, 2021.

Criteria for selection include organizations, events or individuals who demonstrated not only resolve in the face of the current challenges but also reflected what is best about the people and the organizations in the sports-event industry. Nominees can include organizations, events or individuals that persevered in the past year, found new ways to approach their business and helped their communities and their industry emerge stronger from the pandemic.

If you know of people or organizations who have gone the extra length to support the industry or their community in the past year, we want to hear about them. Please provide as much information as you can about why your nominee is worthy, as well as contact information for our staff to reach out and hear more.

The challenges ahead are many. But the sports-event industry will rise to meet those challenges. The 2021 SportsTravel Awards will honor that spirit as we look toward a brighter future for us all.
