SPIRIT OF SEDONA 2018 AWARDS NOMINATIONS

Each year, the Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations in the following categories:

Volunteer of the Year Award - honors an individual exhibiting leadership, offering creative solutions to support the work of nonprofit organizations, and offering significant activities and attributes

Business Benefactor of the Year Award - honors a nonprofit, public benefit organization that encourages and motivates others to engage in community solutions and demonstrates outstanding commitment to improving the quality of life in Sedona and the Verde Valley

Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award - honors a business providing outstanding commitment to the culture of philanthropy in Sedona and the Verde Valley

Philanthropist of the Year Award - honors an individual who demonstrates outstanding philanthropic impact within the community of Sedona and the Verde Valley

Community Collaborator of the Year Award - honors an individual or business who is committed to advancing the mission and principles of their organization with exceptional overall results and impact through collaboration and effective community engagement, and leadership by example

This is a great opportunity to honor outstanding individuals, businesses, and community organizations who have demonstrated exceptional philanthropic spirit, leadership and volunteerism throughout Sedona and the Verde Valley.

Nominations must be received no later than May 1, 2018.

Please nominate the individual, nonprofit organization, business benefactor, philanthropist, or community collaborator who best fits the criteria listed for each category.

Nomination Criteria:

- Outstanding contributions to improve the quality of life in Sedona and the Verde Valley

- History of philanthropic impact

- Innovative solutions to community problems

- Leadership by example

- Giving without personal gain or benefit
