APPLICATION FOR FUNDING

1. Fill in the application form to seek funding for home language books and other resources in the school library. Home language in this case is the language spoken in the home of a student in your school that is not English or Irish. 
2.The scheme covers books, comics, magazines, DVDs, digital and traditional foreign language games, dictionaries, maps, stickers, intercultural aids, talking pens etc. The scheme does NOT cover materials which are in English or Irish ONLY but encourages dual language materials with English/Irish and a foreign language.
3. You will receive an email to say your funding is approved.
4. Once you have received the email you can start acquiring materials.
5. The school will acquire the books and other resources independently. Maximum amount is €500 per school. For schools which have already benefitted from the scheme in previous years the maximum amount is €300. 
5. Deadline for funding application is 31st May 2023.
