2023 Salute to Leaders Awards Nominations

Since its founding, the United States has been known across the world as a society of citizens who volunteer. In many ways, that is how this country was built and Clermont County has exceptional volunteers who continue that tradition.

Clermont County volunteers are honored each year at Salute to Leaders, a program of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation. These volunteers often are unsung heroes who ask for no reward or recognition, and make Clermont County a better place to live.

All nominees must live and/or volunteer in Clermont County and their contributions must be done outside the normal workplace requirements. Elected officials and governmental organizations are not eligible. Not all categories are awarded every year.

Winners will be honored during the Salute to Leaders 30th Anniversary on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 with a dinner and awards ceremony at the Oasis Conference Center in Loveland. Tickets are available HERE or by calling (513) 576-5000.

An activity that improved the physical and/or mental well-being of citizens.

THE UP 'N OVER LEADERSHIP AWARD
A hard-working, well-rounded student, age 16 to 21, who demonstrates exemplary character and leadership both in school and community activities.

THE WILLIAM H. OVER LEADERSHIP AWARD
An individual who has made a significant and lasting impact through his or her leadership in improving the quality of life in Clermont County.

EDUCATON AWARD
An educational initiative, teacher, administrator, or volunteer that made it possible for students to succeed in school as well as develop 21st century workforce and life skills to live and work in Clermont County.
- A teacher or administrator who has made a significant contribution impacting career preparation for Clermont County students outside the scope of their day-to-day responsibilities.
OR
- An individual whom, through their volunteer work, has made significant, positive contributions in improving the quality and effectiveness of work readiness and life skills preparedness for Clermont County students by partnering with local school districts.
OR
- A community initiative that positively impacts students in Clermont County schools.

NON-PROFIT PARTNER OF THE YEAR AWARD
A non-profit organization which – in partnership with a school district and/or business - has made a significant contribution impacting work readiness and life skills preparedness for Clermont County students.

BUSINESS PARTNER OF THE YEAR
A business which - in partnership with one or more school districts – has made a measurable impact on the quality of work readiness and life skills preparedness for Clermont County students through an innovative program/s and/or the effectiveness and dedication of their employees who volunteer in Clermont County schools.
