Question Title

Moreland City Council in partnership with Monash University’s XYX Lab is asking community members about the Merri Creek area in Coburg between Moreland Road and Bell Street.

We know that many different people enjoy spending time along Merri Creek. However, in this survey we want to hear specifically from women and girls.* If you don’t use this area, that is okay, we would still like to hear from you about why you don’t use it.

Drawing on your own experiences, we are asking you to respond to a series of questions on how you use parts of the Merri Creek Coburg area, how you feel about safety in the area, and to tell us what could be done to improve and make the space feel safer for you.
Completing this survey will take between 10 and 20 minutes. There are three sections to the survey:
  1. Your usage and impressions overall and of distinct sites in the area.
  2. Comments in detail on distinct sites.
  3. Demographics - this will help us know whether we have heard from a wide range of people.
Thank you.

* When we use the word woman or women, we recognise that they are not a homogenous group. Women represent enormous diversity in their cultural background, socioeconomic status, where they live, their sexuality, ability/disability, and age. We use the word inclusive of all women, including cis-women, trans-women, intersex women and non-binary persons.
