Biology High Volume Service Overview

This one hour training session provides an overview of the Biology High Volume Service for those who are unfamiliar with the service.  It is not meant for Scenes-of-Crime Officers or others who may be submitting high Volume Service cases.  This session:

1. identifies what differentiates the High Volume Service from the Violent Crimes Service
2. provides a brief history of the service and how it has evolved over time
3. describes the service as it exists today

By the end of the session, participants will demonstrate knowledge of how to determine if a case qualifies for the High Volume Service, including offence type and item type, as well as an understanding of what documentation they will receive at the conclusion of testing.
