As part of the NSF Eddie Bernice Johnson Engineering PLUS INCLUDES Alliance, stEm PEER Academy is focused on increasing the number of students in engineering and engineering technology. As part of the 2+ year professional development experience, participants will develop an Action Plan that will guide them in developing and delivering an Implementation Project at their own institution. The ultimate goal of the Eddie Bernice Johnson Engineering PLUS INCLUDES Alliance is to directly or indirectly increase the number of engineering and/or engineering technology graduates (BS, MS or PhD levels) in the United States. According to the American Society for Engineering Education (link for resources), there are many approaches and strategies that colleges & universities can leverage to support students in recruitment, retention and degree completion. 1. What is one evidence-based strategy or program that you believe has the potential to be most beneficial for increasing the recruitment, retention, and/or degree completion of students in engineering and engineering technology? How could you implement this strategy or program at your own institution?
