Southern Tier Central (STC) Regional Planning & Development Board is conducting this survey to better understand workforce and human resource issues faced by employers in Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben counties.  The results will be used by STC in coordination with its project partners to develop recommendations for addressing hiring challenges, training needs, and skills gaps in our region. 

The survey should be completed by the human resource manager OR by the person who makes the primary decisions about employment at your business (e.g., owner, manager, CEO, executive director) based on the experience of your business in Chemung, Schuyler, and/or Steuben counties.  If your business has multiple locations or is an affiliate of a company located elsewhere, please focus your responses to the extent possible on your facility in Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben counties.

Your individual responses will be kept in strict confidence.  Only the compiled results of the survey will be released.  The estimated time to answer all questions is 20 minutes.
