Introduction

Spare the Air Youth is compiling a list of pre-approved vendors to work with the Spare the Air Youth program’s High School Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Grant recipients. Vendors will work with and support high school teams leading activities that have the potential to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from sources related to transportation. Spare the Air Youth (STAY) is a program of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (Air District).

Parties interested in being selected for the initial list of eligible vendors for the Fiscal Year 2018-19 High School SRTS Grant cycle must submit an electronic Statement of Interest no later than 5 p.m. on June 18, 2018.

Vendors may submit to be added to the eligible vendor list on a rolling basis for subsequent grant cycles. Approved vendors will be matched with high school groups selected through the Call for Projects, based on project type, geographic area, and applicant preference. Vendors will receive technical assistance and data collection support from the Center for Climate Protection (CCP).
