Introduction

Social Planning Toronto is working with the City of Toronto to seek input from residents to shape the City's first-ever Gender Equity Strategy.

Gender equity can be defined as the process of allocating resources, programs, and decision-making fairly to all, without any discrimination on the basis of gender, and addressing any imbalances in the benefits available to people of different genders.

The information shared through this survey will help us to understand who has participated and the priorities, needs, and experiences of Toronto residents for advancing gender equity.

Your participation is confidential and voluntary. You may decline to answer any question. Your answers from this survey will be combined with others’ answers and reported in aggregated and/or anonymized quotation form only. None of your responses will be personally attributed to you.

All input will be compiled together and posted to www.toronto.ca/Open. Any personal identifying information, or information that may pose as a security or confidentiality concern will not be posted on the City's Open Data portal.

Your privacy is important to us. Do not include personal information such as your name, address or phone number in your responses or any information that identifies a friend, family member or other person.

This survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

We appreciate your time and input!

This survey will remain open until February 23, 2022.
