Welcome to the 2017 National Preparedness Month Survey!

13% of survey complete.
In honor of National Preparedness Month (NPM), the City of San Mateo would like to know what type of personal preparedness steps you and your family have taken, and to know what kind of hazards you are concerned about.

This year's theme, “Disasters Don’t Plan Ahead. You Can," reminds us that we should all take action to prepare for disasters!

We should all know how to respond during an emergency and what to do when disaster strikes — where we live, work, and visit. The goal of NPM and the City of San Mateo is to increase community resilience and engagement in preparedness actions at home, work, business, school, and places of worship.

We know you’re busy so we’ve kept the survey to just 12 questions and we’re entering survey participants into a drawing for a personal emergency preparedness kit valued at over $45!
