Elected Members - Remuneration Consultation

Consultation Purpose: The States of Alderney have recently commissioned an independent review of the remuneration payable to elected members of the States of Alderney. Elected members remuneration was last looked at in 2008 in the Day report. The purpose of the consultation and report is to review the current basis for States members remuneration, assess whether that basis is still appropriate and relevant and determine whether the current levels fairly and properly reflect the nature of the roles. The report will make recommendations as to the level of remuneration going forward.
