The survey is in two Parts:

Part A (Directory) – to be completed by individuals, organisations, venues or collectives

Information gathered in Part A forms a directory that acts as a virtual Rolodex of creative practice in the Highlands. It will encourage contact between creatives in the region, and facilitate clients and customers in sourcing local creative services and products.

Your responses in Part A will form the basis of the directory listing for yourself or your group, depending on who you are filling out the survey for.

If you are completing the survey on behalf of a group or organisation but ALSO identify as an individual creative and wish to be included in the directory, submit your first survey then start another one.

Part B (Research) – to be completed by individual creative practitioners only

Responses to Part B will be aggregated into a report about our local creative ecosystem. This includes the collection of demographic data, identifying barriers, as well as collating some financial and professional qualification information.

(Please note that if you are responding as a representative of a group or organisation Part B is NOT applicable, so please select ‘No’ at Question 13.)

Please register to participate in the survey at Question 1 – this will be separated from the survey and will not be published. It will be kept on file by the project team to facilitate future creative industries research and development.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
This project is an initiative of the Creative Industries Cluster Southern Highlands (CiCSH), a group of arts-based organisations and creative practitioners focused on identifying and supporting opportunities for the local creative industries sector. The project has been funded by Wingecarribee Shire Council Community Assistance Scheme and supported by the Southern Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A report should be available in March 2022. The project is designed to generate work between and for local creatives, and attract work to the region. Please also participate if you are inactive with your practice for any reason, or retired.

Questions can be directed to Council’s Economic Development Coordinator via business@wsc.nsw.gov.au

Before starting the survey, be prepared with an 'elevator pitch' of 50 words or so, and to upload a headshot or logo if you wish.
