What is this research for?    

Live Stronger For Longer and Somar Design Studios are conducting a survey to understand how the Live Stronger for Longer website connects with and engages users.    

What is involved?                                

If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete a short survey.  We estimate this will take you around 10 minutes to complete. Questions in the survey are about how you might use our website, and the types of information that are most important to you.  

Who is this research open to?    

Anyone who uses the Live Stronger For Longer website, including people aged 65 and over; their friends and whanau; health professionals working with people aged 65 and over.   

Do I have to take part in the research?    

Your participation in this study is entirely your choice. You are free to: Choose not to take part or withdraw at any time, without having to give a reason.    

Will my response be confidential?    

Yes. This survey is anonymous.  All of the reporting from this project will be grouped so you can’t be identified. An example of this type of reporting is: “75% of participants exercise regularly”. All data from the survey will be held in a secure server and destroyed two years after the survey is completed.

What will this research produce?    

This research will provide Live Stronger for Longer with information needed to improve the Live Stronger website. Participants in the survey will be emailed a short summary of the findings, as being posted on the www.livestronger.org.nz website later in the year.

What are my rights?    

You have the right to learn about what the research finds.    

You have the right to withdraw from the study at any time.    

You may contact us at team@somar.co.nz and ask that your information be removed from the study at any time, and with no consequences for you.
