  • Check online if movies have onscreen smoking in them and make a smoke-free choice for kids and teens,
  • Go to smokefreemovies.ca to "take action" online,
  • Contact your MPP to let them know this is an issue for you, or
  • Tell other parents about the issue of onscreen smoking in movies so they are aware.

18A rated movies allow people under 18 if they are accompanied by an adult. These movies may contain explicit violence, frequent course language, sexual activity and/or horror. Onscreen smoking is NOT considered when new movies are rated.
